The DIY team are a bunch of local skaters from Fife with the aim of inproving the level of skateboarding and to have as much fun as possible. the team was formed in december last year, mostly because we thought it would be a laugh but also for something to do together to add some team spirit.

The team go on regular trips to skateparks all over fife and the surounding areas, building the teams confidence and skill as we go.

THE FIRST VIDEO

We have Stopped selling The First DIY video. You are still able to buy the video by either:

DUNFERMLINE COMP

We arived at dunfermline skatepark at about 11 o'clock to find the park  absolutly packed with skaters tryin to get there lines worked out for the comp. the words "utter mayhem" sum it up quite nicely, JP manged to slam realy hard 3 times trying the rail before landing it 4th try jus to go on and destroy some little kids shins trying to jump the wedge box. the usual park rippers Mark Davies and Daryl where up to there usual shenanigans with some new stuff chucked in aswell.

ILLUMINESCENCE

 

    Illuminescence is going to be the second installment to the diy video archive, with the team finaly confident (and recovered!) enough to make a new full length skate film. Filming is now under way, and with the help of a fish eye lense, more filming experience, and a higher level of skating, the film is looking to be a stormer. Illuminescence is expected to far out-do the first diy video.

 

 

 

Editing is due to start as soon as possible, and with the summer just started the team is itching to get out and about again! any further devlelopements in the filming and editing of illuminecance will be posted on this site.
